If you ask me, Sundays were made for roadtrips. In this post I’ll give you 2 possible roadtrip itineraries.
So everyone goes to the different markets on Sundays and honestly it gets boring. There’s a lot more to Sundays then just market runs. So pack your bag, grab your roadtrip buddy & let’s go:
1. Lelydorp – Zanderij
Lelydorp has always been a very popular place to stop & get food. At first their weren’t a lot of choices, just Javanese food at the warungs. Now there are a lot more options and you can find just about anything you want to eat, from fast food to Indian food & pasta.
Now to continue our roadtrip. On the road to & behind Zanderij there are a lot of small holiday resorts you can stay at. I personally tend to avoid the most popular ones cause they’re always crowded. Here’s a list of places to choose from:

2. Martin Luther King highway – Afobaka road
This is by far the most popular. Along this route you find many fun, relaxing places & there’s a lot to see.

These are 2 of the many possible roadtrips you can go on. These roadtrip options are also kid friendly so if you have them, bring them along! And if you don’t have a roadtrip buddy, don’t Worry! You can also make this a fun roadtrip by yourself! You just need to be willing to step out of your comfort zone and don’t forget to grab your sense of adventure!
